As part of Windermere’s long-standing commitment to help those in need, our offices throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington will be collecting coats and blankets now through December 18.  We invite you to join us in the effort.  Help us share the warmth this winter by bringing new or gently used items to your local Windermere office.  Simply call for donation drop-off hours and more details about the items being collected.

When people move to Portland, one of the first schools they ask about is Ainsworth Elementary.  It has a great reputation, and I can vouch for it – my husband attended school there when he was a kid.  It’s right up the hill from trendy NW 23rd street, and very close to downtown.  They also offer a Spanish Immersion program that is very popular. 

Homes for Sale in the Ainsworth Elementary School District in Portland range anywhere from $110,000 for a condo to $3.8 Million (as of today’s listings) and last for an average of 62 Days on the Market.  Today’s median home price in the Ainsworth Elementary School District in Portland is $617,500 and the median size is 2361 square feet.

Would you like to learn more about homes for sale in the Bridlemile School District in Portland?  This area is close to downtown, and has one of the best elementary schools in town!  Recent test scores show Bridlemile Elementary School is at the top of the list – and homes are a bit more reasonable than in the Ainsworth School District, which is the closest to downtown in the Southwest area of Portland.  Bridlemile is one “notch” further out, so the prices are a notch lower, and you’re still where the action is, with great schools, and close proximity to downtown Portland.
