I just received this from the owner of Windermere – a letter from clients who bought a beautiful condo this summer:
“I’m writing this letter to comment Cary Perkins, our amazing realtor. We first met Cary in the winter of 2008. We traveled (a bit reluctantly on my part) from our home of 20 years in the Southern states to Portland where my husband was being interviewed for a position. Cary not only had to show me around Portland, she had to sell me on Portland. I can’t say I made it easy for her because I wasn’t thrilled about moving across country. But Cary’s enormous charm and extraordinary personality won me over and her love of Portland and knowledge of the city convinced me that this would be a good move for us.
When we returned in July to look for an apartment to rent, Cary had reams of good information for us. She helped us find a real estate agent in the south, and served as an advisor for us, wiling to take our calls at any time. Then we found our dream home: a condo in the Pearl. Cary’s expertise and professionalism really came into play as she led us through the process of bidding and then closing on the property. (and part of the time we were out of town) This is the fifth house we’ve bought and we’ve never felt so represented.
Now we’re living in a home we love in a city we love, thanks in a very large part to Cary. As promised on her website, (her blog is also excellent!) buying our condo was an experience we’ll “remember as fun and successful.” ~ Al & Janet
