Use of bright colors in your home

It's lovely to surround yourself in neutrals.  Linen sofa, cashmere throw, natural accents.  What's not to love?  Rooms like this feel so peaceful.
 
 
 
 
But I prefer a splash of color in every room.  (Well, maybe more than a splash)
